With a white tie (full evening dress), either full-size decorations or miniatures are worn.

Most full-size decorations and miniatures are worn on the chest, on the left lapel or in a corresponding position on ladies’ attire. When positioning the insignia, remember that they should not be covered by anything.

The positioning of the Grand Cross, Commander First Class and Commander insignia is illustrated on the right and in more detail in the guide.

The sash for a Grand Cross may be worn either over the shoulder or, alternatively, shortened and fastened with buttons to the waistcoat.

With ladies’ full-length evening dress, the full-size and miniature editions of the Grand Cross, Commander First Class and Commander insignia are worn as illustrated. Ladies may use a brooch or similar to secure the Grand Cross sash in place.
